Mayor Peter Milobar guarantees he will personally pay more, but says it is the fair and equitable thing to do. Vote is 7 to 2. Opposed are Denis Walsh and Pat Wallace.

Very disappointed with the decision... It shows a complete lack of respect for the citizens of Kamloops whom voted no on the reverendom and it shows a continuing total lack of creativity with most of te present counsel...
I now have many more counsellors to add to my "Ain't Voting For Them List"...

What I would have preferred is City Counsel respecting the Referendum we already had...
Denis Walsh had a very good suggestion for limiting water usage...
