Not agreeing does not mean not having confidence...

Apologies for the rather clunky heading to this post.

I stole this from Kamloops best radio and broadcast news web site, CFJC TV 7:

OPINIONS FROM ONE KAMLOOPS CITY COUNCILLOR HAVE COME FORWARD---IN AN ATTEMPT TO SAVE TAXPAYERS MONEY. COUNCILLOR ARJIN SINGH SPARKED A HEATED DEBATE AT TUESDAY'S MEETING THAT THE CITY NEEDS TO REVIEW THEIR SPENDING DECISIONS---AND SHOULD RUN THE CITY MORE EFFICIENTLY. SOME CONCERN WAS RAISED COUNCILLOR SINGH'S COMMENTS EXPRESSED NON-CONFIDENCE IN CITY ADMINISTRATION. WHEN ASKED ABOUT WAYS TO SAVE MONEY---COUNCILLOR SINGH WASN'T ABLE TO GIVE ANY IMMEDIATE IDEAS. THE CITY ALONG WITH THE MAYOR ARE DISAPPOINTED THESE COMMENTS WERE MADE.

I think its important to note that "sparking a debate" and "having no confidence" are two completely different animals.  I am not sure why the Mayor is disappointed. I have a lot of confidence in both the city admninistration and the Mayor - I just happen not to have the same opinion all the time - who knew?
