Was very pleased to see tremendous crowds walking through around the booths at the BC Sustainable Energy Association echibition and trade show today - first ever. Huge kudos to the organizers. Mayor Lake opened the event saying how excited he was about it. And I think a lot of other people are now excited as well. I think we are past the "tipping point" on this environmental concerns.
I quite agree, the event was extremely well attended and had some terrific presentations and information booths there. Congratulations to Jason Kubian and the other event organizers for such a great job - they deserve the praise!
Hopefully, each event will get larger and larger, and showcase more innovative and practical ways to make a difference environmentally. Perhaps next year we may see some demonstration events, even more presenters, and turn this into a significant resource event!
As for what I learned - tons - but my first step will be to create a vermi-composter this week, thanks to tips received from the TNRD.
