Pleased that information on my trip to the Personal Democracy Forum (see here) was reported by Michele Young of the Kamloops Daily News (think I got all the spelling right Michele!). It is important for me that we all talk openly about the value of council travel. I am hoping to learn great things over the next few days in New York City. And will try to blog even while I am there - will definitely blog about it after I return!
Arjun,
I think it is a great conference for you to attend. You are spending well and wise.

Arjun,
Love your site and your accessibility to your constituents. They are fortunate to have you.
I also love how you present the costs of the conference to the people who pitched in to pay for it. Elected officials are used to hiding from the people, because they're worried the people will eat them up on every little issue. I think if people clearly understand what their officials are doing, they'd cut them a little more slack to try innovative and courageous things. Keep up the good work!
