Goes to TRU Professor Derek Cook, attending yesterday's city hall protest against Domtar's request for an extension to air quality work at the Kamloops Pulp Mill.
Quoted in this Kamloops Daily News story:
Derek Cook said City council should not have accepted Domtar’s report on the proposal once an error was identified.
“If there is one glaring mistake in the report looked at by two private consultants, Domtar and the Ministry of Environment, what other mistakes could have possibly been in there?”
Council should have waited to make sure the report contained no other errors.
