Learn and Share Ideas about Kamloops: An Invitation!

 

You are invited to an community dialogue, which I'm calling the Kamloops Idea Festival, on Saturday, Jan 12th 2013, from 9am to 12pm.

I've rented one of the coolest venues, I think, in Kamloops - the TRU Barber Centre. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

The Idea Festival will consist of three main activities:

• short “lightning” talks about a diverse range of innovative Kamloops initiatives - from the business, social services, cultural, arts, and other communities.
• small group dialogues on community issues
• short performances by Kamloops musicians
• a volunteer “fair” showcasing some awesome volunteer opportunities in the community.
