What are your priorities?
I am interested in being more thoughtful in my approach to community issues, as well as still bringing up innovative ideas. I also want to help bring the community together and represent all Kamloopsians equally. My detailed platform, which touches on a diverse range of issues, is available at yourkamloops.com
2. What is the best idea that you bring to the table?
In my decisions, I commit first to researching and consulting thoroughly; second, I commit to taking a stand unless in conflict of interest; third, I commit to explaining my decisions.
3. What's the biggest issue facing (council/board)? What would you do about it?
After talking to many Kamloopsians, I feel the biggest issue facing council is being fiscally responsible while maintaining and enhancing the quality of life in Kamloops. I would carefully look at the city budget, consult widely about community funding priorities, and support efforts that create a more vibrant Kamloops economy.
