What are your priorities?
I am interested in being more thoughtful in my approach to community issues, as well as still bringing up innovative ideas. 2. What is the best idea that you bring to the table?
In my decisions, I commit first to researching and consulting thoroughly; second, I commit to taking a stand unless in conflict of interest; third, I commit to explaining my decisions.
3. What's the biggest issue facing (council/board)? What would you do about it?
After talking to many Kamloopsians, I feel the biggest issue facing council is being fiscally responsible while maintaining and enhancing the quality of life in Kamloops. I would carefully look at the city budget, consult widely about community funding priorities, and support efforts that create a more vibrant Kamloops economy.
